I started my web development journey in 2018. I had enjoyed programming in high school and in a couple of University courses I was taking, but I really lept into it once I was out of school. I taught myself how to make NodeJS apps with Express following online tutorials, and bootstrapped my way into the industry. I started working for D2L in 2019 and I've been there ever since! I work on all aspects of the web, from developing web components using React and Lit Element, to developing APIs with NodeJS, Koa and Typescript, to managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. I've also recently participated in York University's Certificate in DevOps, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I'm a self taught developer, having learned my skills through a combination of on-the-job and exploratory experience. I also recently took part in York University's Certificate in DevOps.
